FDN restricted - GSM-Forum

Hi,
Just finished unlocking phone etc, but when i try to dial out it says "number fdn restricted" how do i correct this, i know its to do with a fixed dialling no, or something. FDN is enabled in menus, but i dont know what PIN2 number is and ive only 1 attempt left. Any ideas? Cheers

Hi,
n update about this situation? Have fullflashed a x680 and the same. It refuses to make n call due to FDN activated at security menu but can enter the pin2.

as far as i know pin2 is located on the sim card

try to restor factory set and another sim card

Will try with a new sim cause i dont have n with the pin2 recorded. Iam afraid it will be possible only with the sim first activated the FDN.

whats ur problem ,tel me clear,which handset is used by u,what u want to do in it,ur FDN mode id activated or deactivated,i know all about FDN mode.........

Quite simple man,
customer brought a phone Sam X680 wich cant make n call. Always CALL REFUSED and as i check all settings foun only FDN activated and it asks for a pin2 in order to be inactivated. Have erased NOR and full flashed it back but still refuses to make n call. Think it´s due to FDN active, otherwise n other setting regards CALL proccess or security issue should be also activated. Will try the solution with a SIM i DO know the pin 2 and post result.

Well, just for your reference i left it powered on since last night and then today it began make calls again. It was not necessary to disable FDN and i do not know what were the real solution. Now will fullflash it again in order to get portuguese language cause the one i flash last time has only europe lang + en.

sir firstly u have to do the ENTER THE CODE *#2767*2878#
then check its IMEI ,ur fone will be 100 % ok

Go to your Apps on your Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
Select ‘Phone'
Tap ‘Keypad'
Tap on the menu icon with the keypad
Choose ‘Call Settings'
Tap ‘Additional Settings'
Tap ‘Fixed Dialling Numbers'
Choose ‘Enable FDN'
Enter the PIN2 code that came with your SIM card
Select ‘FDN List'
Enter the numbers that you want to allow calls to be made to
Tap ‘Save'
