Member: 10695 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | How to Backup Samsung E800 Flash in SarasSoft I have the N-Box/UFS/Twister box with SarasSoft & HWK. I am trying to back my Samsung E800 Flash. I backed up MCU I backed up TFS No Problems. My problem is writing this back to my phone. I can write flash MCU 100% When i try to write flash TFS i get error "No CFG file" When i look in directory of flash - there are 2 files. *.bin and *.tfs How can i create the cfg files please. Thanks |

Member: 14277 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | when you use UFS for backup firmware... you will get 2 binary files... like you say there is no problem to write back MCU but UFS can't write binary NAND backup... so if you whant create full orginal backup form phone you must use "SGHFD (SGH Flasher/Dumper) by Alex/AT" because only this software can read software as orginal "TFS file (TFS file use *.cfg file)" and then you will be able to flash it with UFS... give me software version (press *#1234#) maybe i have it.. then i will send you.. br orcgsm |

Member: 14277 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | check when you connect e800 to usb port what devices start install then check for com port and try use them.. also check maybe your cabel emulate com port because e800 can only comunicate as serial connection... |

Member: 10695 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | Hi ORC Its OK false alarm. I managed to re-flash it after many goes. Its now back to normal. Only difference is its locked and allthough i select unlock and it says OK, It is really still Network locked. Anyhow i put the lock code in and all is OK now. Thanks |

Member: 10695 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | Hi ORC I use N-Box with HWK. I did manage to unlock it but not directly with this. I got the network code. Entered that manuall on phone and hey presto All works 100%. Thanks for your help. Would like more info on Backing up complete phone please if you have the time. Cheers |
