Hi, how caN I TELL IF A PHONE IS BLACKLISTED BY ITS imei. i USED TO HAVE A PHONE BUMBER, THE T-MOBILE BLACKLIST CHECKER BUT IT HAS STOPPED WORKING. aNYONE USE ANYTHIGN SIMILAR TO THIS??

Sorry bout the CAPS!

Is there a phoner number i can phone or anyhting like that to check details??

I get a lot of phones and have been finding an increasing number of them to be blacklisted when i get them home!

power on phone. signal appears, few seconds it drops! you see "SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED" thats for NOkia phones only.

carry active sims for all the networks and test phones before you part with any money, but if customers are clever they wont report phones missing until after you have bought them and they have your cash in their bank or even spent it!!

also you could register a pay as you go sim card to that imei number and it will be recorded that you are using that phone with that imei, if he or she reports it missing a day or so later you can prove that you have been using the handset since you bought it and registered it, they will have been using another phone and you can get the networks to barr the handset which was been used when the other person has reported it, as you can prove that you have been using the phone since buying it
