Member: 790521 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Screwriver to dismantle phone??? I mean the 6 under the circuit board. Without removing them I can’t get to the other end of the ribbon cable… I bought this cheap set of “watchmaker’s” screwdrivers off eBay, but the end immediately chewed off the driver when I tried to undo one of the screws… utter crap. Any help much appreciated. Errmmm… might it be anything other than the ribbon cable? Thanks! |

Member: 790521 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Yeah... I know. None of mine is small enough, and the watchmaker type just broke. They seem VERY tight! But update - I found I was shorting the ribbon cable when I closed the phone, fixed that so now I don't have to take it apart that far anyway... phew... All I need to know now is what kind of glue to use when fitting my new screen lens thingy! I'm not that brave! |
