Any information on SGH-F700 available?

Hi, I'm looking for any information about SGH-F700. What platform is it based on - one of the MSM chipsets? How do I get into the bootloader? If I connect the USB cable and turn on the phone, it is only recognized as ACM device as soon as the OS is up and running. Is there information to be gained about internals from the user interface? All I know so far are SW/HW versions from entering those codes: *#1234# SW VERSION: F700AMGJ8 Factory FS VERSION: VD2 *#1111# FTA SW VERSION: F700V.005 *#2222# FTA HW VERSION: REV1.1 I'd like to find a way to make a backup of the flash contents, but I can't find anything on the web.

Thanks for those hints. I found out that to get into the bootloader mode ('DOWNLOAD' displayed on screen) I have to press the 'alternate symbol' key (on the bottom left of the keyboard) while powering up the device.

Is there any public information about the bootloader protocol?
I downloaded MultiLoader V5.30.exe, but to me it looks like it can only download images onto the phone flash, not upload the current flash contents to my PC.

Hmm. If Qualcomm then try to connect to:
QPST
QXDM
or
CDMA Workshop and check infos.
http://www.cdma-ware.com/workshop.html

Then you can show the correct MSM.

www.bitpim.org could also work for Filetransfer.

BTW.:
You can dump with CDMA Workshop the AMSS.

@ Mickey Mouse

Did you saw Firmwareupdate somewhere? If yes, please could you give us an Link or please Upload.

Best Regards

If it has really 6245 or 6250?

MSM6250(A) runs perfect with CDMA Workshop. Only if Samsung has "special Security" against CDMA Workshop...

So, better try out. To find exact MSM in F700. And try CDMA Workshop for dump.
