F480 Camera Failed! - GSM-Forum

Hi All,

Have brand new samsung F480 and phone have problem whit camera,if I try to switch on thn have this error Camera Failed.I try flash diferent sw but still the same...What can be the problem?

i have a same problem with my f480 camera every things working done but the camera shows fail massage i tried 2 flash my samsung but the problem still exist .
i got this massage when i start my camera at the fist time after flash :
page1/11 assertion - assert : false failed.(file..\shpapp2\application\appbase\camera\ unicon\qbowl\window\camviewwindow.c,line2623)

Try this out.
Go to the main screen then click "Dial"
type *#0*# then Click Mega Cam (Option 7)
See if the camera appears on this screen?
Also try the VGA Camera by clicking Option 8.

Let me know if they work?

mega cam doesn't work but the vga works proper

Must be a hardware problem and not a software problem...i think.
Hopefully you can get it fixed

I have real solution for F480 camera failed..
Problem is in different camera modules. One of them all ppls can repair via *#36287#2 (download ISP) after "success" hit "3" and U will see "0X1F4D8723" with most firmwares, different camera module will not work with mentioned ISP version - must be: "0x43064344" (but I have tried many firmwares and not found with required ISP)

Now I have solution for that. It is not free

I need only your F480 camera and 10 EUR for repairing (sending costs not included), who can't disassemble or do not wants to do it - can send phone without battery and battery cover.
Also I can repair Samsung Qualcomm platform phones with dead boot (30EUR/PC without sending costs).

ONLY For users from Lithuania - price will be higher, because in same country shipping is more cheaper

for real price U can calculate 1EUR - 4LTL without sending

Check yours camera version (I mean hardware) if on camera
flex GF480G you must write ISP ver 0x43064344 (I haven't
found this version in normal firmwares)
I can rewrite your camera firmware. But U must send to me
your camera or whole phone repair price is 10 EUR without
sending costs

i have flashed to F480DXHF3 and replaced cam driver to CE131_DXHF3

but no change camera still failed
