Member: 18938 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | Multiloader No phone is connected One zv10 was freezed because of incorrect codes inserting more than 3 times. I tried to flash it with usb+com cable. First I started the download mode in phone(key9 + power on), and after selected all flashes on multiloader. The phone was well detected, and started to flash, but stopped at 49% The error it gave was: "RX no response" Now phone powers just for 2 seconds and switch off again(I can just see samsung logo). I´m trying to flash it again: I put the phone in flash mode( I can read on small screen "DOWNLOAD"), the computer recognizes the samsung modem on com3, but when I click download on program it doesn´t do it. And if I click Port search, it tells "No phone is connected". Any solution pls? I have read a lot of posts, but cant get the solution if there is any tx in advance david |

Member: 79390 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 29 | follow these steps and should be ok.. The following information is for reference only. 1. Download multi-downloader (UMdloader V1.4). 2. Download the MDL.dll & unzip to same directory 3. Download software of appropriate carrier (again, appropriate carrier) & unzip 4. Install USB driver. You can use the USB driver for CDMA phones, e.g. A601, N361 & etc – attached. Before you can flash, you need an USB data cable and setup the USB connection, using the attached USB driver. If you have installed this USB driver before, please ignore and you do not connect the phone at this time. For USB driver installation – NOTE: Do not connect phone before USB driver installation!!!!!!!!! - Install the USB driver - Connect the phone - All PC to select driver. You will be warned that something do not pass the window log test, you will click ‘Continue anyway’. This will appear 2 or 3 times. (PS: The USB cable that comes in the Sales package is fully compatible to E720, S342i & etc.) Power on the phone and connect it to computer. The computer will install the connection and you will see a new modem – check this out from ‘Control Panel->Phone & Modem Options’->’Modems’ If you find a ‘SAMSUNG CDMA Modem’ appeared and attached to a port. Otherwise, please check the installation procedure again. The Multi-downloader will use this port to flash. Power off the phone. Now, open UMdloader 1.4 and enter the following information to multi-downloader (I choose Telstra for example). Boot loader: Do not use USB Boot: Do not use MODEM Code: TMQZS Rsrc: Rsrc_Z500_Telstra Rsrc2: Rsrc2_Low Factory Fs: FactoryFs_Z500_Telstra On SGH-Z500 (make sure the phone is OFF), Press 9+END keys (white screen will display) Then, connect the phone to the data cable. Click ‘Apply configuration’ -> you will see the COM port will appear in the top half section of the downloader. Click ‘Go X’ àX is the port number OR click ‘Download All’ to flash. This multi-downloader supports 8 flashing concurrently. Hope that helped.. |
