the internet and data cable is same like the 720, 810 etc...

Can i unlock it with Samsung R210 serial Service cable, or should it have to be a USB cable. Or 2G phones cable absolute wrong for this UMTS version?

What cable do i need i have a LG 3G cable but it does not let me change the imei for the handset i used the lg cable and used a screw driver to unlock fine but i cannot change the imei

What am i doing rong ?

you cannot change imei on the 3g lg handsets coz they have otp imei..you can change imei on 2g lg handsets.

hi i started the program but i cannot change the usb com port, its greyed... why ? i've connected my z140v with the usb cable wich came with the phone.my pc reads it as @ COM5 port... 10x

You don't need to set usb port.. autodetect

yes, but when i start it, message pop ups and sais Can't open COM1!!!..i click ok... then im selecting the z140v model, and when i press read setting.. Retry!! check serial communication with the phone... serial COM. -NG ???? i have istaleed the driver and samsung pc studio works successfuly... help!

well, then you have something that is blocking COM 1. Shut down all programs in the background and try again.

you need to short pins 2 & 3 on com port if you use usb cable only

don´'t work for imei writing...
imei writing uses com1 and usb at the same time

sorry i missread thought they were unlocking for imei i use LG7050 cable and Ns dongle
