Yesterday I bought a Octopus Samsung activation for DreamBoxSE. Use ordinary USB cable, doing all the instructions Octopus, but when you click "Read Info" program does not find the phone, at the same time repair ESF. Makes the phone firmware flashing. I think the phone's hardware is good, but there is no power supply 1.8 V SIM. The phone was in the water but there is absolutely no rust. I did not buy Octopus Box, probably in vain, because I do not know how to use now UART-cable. Question: 1) Can I use a different box for UART, for example DreamBox? 2) What operations can I not without OctopusBox?
