samsung i780 hard reset...? - GSM-Forum

hi,i need to make an hard reset for samsung i780,i read it for i900 and i hoped that its the same procedure but it looks like it doesnt work,this is what i do...

1) turn on the phone,hold red and green button and press the stylus inside the reset hole...but the phone just restarts by itself as soon as i do so.

2) i do the same procedure when the phone is turned off but still nothing really happens...

please can anybody explain me thi procedure in a better way,i need some further explanations about what to do and when to do them,thanks a lot in advance!

1. Turn off the phone.

2. Hold red and green butoon and press the stylus inside the reset hole, when the red light on release the stylus at once but keep the other keys pressed.

3. You will get now the menu to format.

Trying this method to rd reset my i780 samsung to no aveil. If you can be clearer or give other mether I will be grateful.

press green and red button and press power on switch for a sec and release but keep the other keys.u will get format screen.it will clear your password also.

u need do this very easy just done nw

Press and hold CALL + END + RESET (HOLE) buttons, then press Space for FORMAT Samsung i780.

wrong method.
Your phone must be swiched on.
1-press green and red button and press reset button with any pin at a time,as soon as you see phone is gone off and red light blinks once,release the reset button and keep the red and green button pressed you will see the format option.

I have done this way and it was successful ,the phone must on then press reset button for a few seconds the phone will restart the moment red button shows press green and red button together after that press space bar
