Unhappy Unlocked Z500 restarts on startup

Hello!

Successfully followed the instructions at the "Samsung SGH-Z500 complete unlock solution"-thread.

Now I have the problem that when I start the phone with a Comviq (operator) 3G/UMTS SIM card it asks for my PIN code, accepts it, start searching for net, then reboots within 2 seconds.

I have tried using a Comviq 2G/GSM SIM card and it works great.

May it be that the Telia software has additional manual checks to some known hardcoded SIM ID:s?

Would apprecate your suggestions and/or reports of success with your SIM cards.

Greets, Mikael

Very weird... Try flashing the phone with the latest firmware. Also try the USIM in another phone and see how it behaves. This doesn't sound like a lock issue, but i might be wrong.

Correct. The phone accepts the sim card but reboots afterwards.

Do you have a firmware for it? I'd appreciate if anyone had. AFAIK there is only telia branded firmwares as of yet?
