Hi all,

I came across these forums when looking to debrand my Z500. I have only had it for one week and have unlocked it so I can use TESCO mobile (they are cheap).

Will the USB cable that came with the phone be able to be used to flash it?

I am quite new to the "phones scene" but have been reading up. A lot of the links seem to be dead and I was hoping somebody could email me a firmware and the files needed to update my phone.

I would like the phone debranded really, so I can get rid of the stupid voda logo's.

So. What's the newest firmware for a Z500 nowadays ? =) the latest one i flashed was the Z500REX02 and that works like a charm =)
Though i've always wondered if there weren't meant to be some themeing capabilities in the software for this phone.
Any ideas about this ?

Yes there is a Z500REX03 its an update to the Z500REX02. And for themeing who knows!!!!!!!

I manage to flash my phone now i have another problem, it asks me to set bluetooth device address when i activate bluetooth, can anyone tell me how to fix this as I have lost my bluetooth now and would really like back.

I´m not shure what you mean by the address!? Mine is eather on or off!? It mite be that your useing a firmware that does not surport bluetooth or it´s just asking for a device confermtion By the way did you get the E-Mail I sent you with the firmwear and downloader you asked for? That firmwear surports bluetooth I´m useing it myself with no problums. On my phone under bluetooth it has 1.) Activation 2.) My devices 3.) My phones visibilaty 4.) My Phone´s name. When I used my Bluetooth for the first time I activated (1) Then I gave my phone a name under (4) then I went and activated visibilaty under (3) And then I went to (2) to look for the device I wanted to use. If that does not work for you try to se if there is a code!? I have the codes to all samsung phones I found on this forum site under "Search" (Samsung unlock codes) Posted by "alireza13165" that mite help you with resetting your phone listed below!

P.S. Please note that some of these codes mite not work on your phone due to there for use with all samsung phone models !!! ("Different phones use different codes")

"No bluetooth address!!! Set the BD address or it will do the wrong action"

This has made the bluetooth worthless, can anyone help?
