If the Telia and Comviq softwares are branded, how heavily branded are they, and again do they offer the english language? The reason I ask is that I have vodafone UK software on my z500, and that is HEAVILY branded, as all vodafone softwares are and is nothing like what the phone should look like I assume.

in all softwares. the links and startuplogos is hardcoded in to the firmware. I would recomend to use Comviqs software. No startuplogo and " normal" menues.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry if this is a silly question, but does the Comviq software definetly have the english language as an option? It's just that I wouldnt wish to go through the whole process to only find I couldnt use it

Any hint as well as to where I can get the software from, as well what program to use and how to use it, would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, you have the english language options in this firmware.

I have the flasher and the sw. but the flasher requires a license to run.. induvidual for each computer..

Another thing that ***** in this phone is that you can't use the entire display to watch movies. I would like to use 220x176 pixels instead of 176x144!

I have searched for a Java application for this, but i can't find one. Or is Java to slow do decode Mpeg4?
