6255 interenet conection - GSM-Forum

plz help me how i can connect interenet by using 6255 in computer.plz tell me wat is setup of cable modem? how i can create a modem?

use DKU-2 or CA-53 usb cable. 1st install Nokia pc suite latest version. u can download it from nokia site. then connect ur phone to usb and wait for install all drivers. after complition for all drivers go to control panel and double click on modem icon. configure ur modem of nokia 6255. if u are using win xp right click on my network places and click on properties. in that window click on make new connection. creat a dial up connection. in dial number insert #777. put ur user name and password and then connect. now u can enjoy with internet. note that if u r using reliance then ur user name and password is ur phone number. if u r using tata indicom ur user name and password is "internet" (without cote). one thing more u have to do if u r using tata indicom, when u go to modem properties, u will fine advance tab there. just put "AT+CRM=1" (without cote) there. ok....
