changing com port on cdma ware - GSM-Forum

i have a motorola v3c , i connected it through usb cable, the Control panel shows it on com port is 27, when i started cdma ware, the last com port is
25, and there r no available com ports before 26, how can i get cdma ware to read my phone?

i am running on xp

change your port
mycomputer-properties-hardware-devicemanager-ports-usbtoserialport-properties-portsetting-advance-com port no--thenchanege your port27to other

i did but all the available ports start with 29 , cdma ware give u the option till only 25.

is there a software that will show which other devices on the usb ports other than the CP?that way i might free up some ports from 1-25.what is usb emulator software?

you can change ports from divice manager
inspite of showing available ports u just change it forcely ignore any warning and u il get the desired working port
