Flash Nokia X2-01.1 (RM-717) with X2-01 (RM-709) firmware

Hi,

I've got Nokia X2-01.1 (RM-717) and I wanted to get into that phone czech language. Then I found out that this phone was only for US, so there is no other firmware. In Europe Nokia was selling only X2-01 (RM-709).

So my questions are: Can I flash Nokia X2-01.1 (RM-717) with firmware of X2-01 (RM-709) through Phoenix? Anyone did it before? Will it not brick that phone?

Thanks for answers in advance.

This most likely damages SIMLOCK Data. I tried on one and the phone died. I did full phone backup, did full flash erase and flashed with RM-717 that I downloaded. unfortunately all RM-717 I found had MCU and PPM RM-709 so basically you'll be flashing RM-709 and if press *#0000# it shows Product Type as RM-709 and not RM-717 that you'll download. On writting the RPL Backup, NPC HWC and CCC Data writes OK and SIMLOCK Data and SIMLOCK Keys are found but returns Error in trying to Write Them. You might get Contact Service in the process but if you do SDD Repair it Solves the Problem. I've really searched for RM-717 but in vain. The ones I get are mostly RM-709 especially MCU and PPM files.
