Hi everybody, I bought a Nokia 2280 and i have 2 cellphones and 2 numbers and i discovered under the battery that i have a chip space to put there and i want to know if i can use a GSM Chip there and why can unlock to use CDMA and GSM in the same cellphone?

Nokia 2280 is CDMA phone, so, as well as other models of nokia CDMA phones, it may or may not be enabled for use of R-UIM card, this is similar card to GSM SIM Card, however it is not compatible with GSM standard, So you can forget to use GSM sim card in CDMA phone. !!

Answer to other people, If you need to convert Non R-uim Nokia to R-uim, or to flash different region flashes in Nokia Cdma phones, contact us !

i try to reset a nokia 2280 for clear life timer ,after this it was no network.

I do recommend use of Original NOKIA Service Hardware and Software !!!

So you and anyone else will not encounter such problems like with third party crap boxes.

1. your PKD-1 must be R&D version, then you can read SPC code and change it !

2. if your 2280 is R-UIM type, you cannot access SPC code !

I was on o shop yesterday and they reprograming my cellphone Nokia 2280 to use low power because my battery is working just one day... Then, after this programing, when i send messages the other phone receive after 4 hours, somebody knows about this code, know about all codes for nokia 2280? I´ve change the internal software to use IS-2000 but the lag is the same.
