. I clearyfy that this software is capable of changing esn of 2280.for others i am not sure as i have only 2280 for experiment.

. No need to open the set.

.So simple as using esncom1 for lg

so finally 2280 chapter closed.

For your information, as far as I know it is impossible to change ESN in the latest DCT4 (CDMA and TDMA) models of Nokia. Because the ESN is stored in a mask PROM chip which can be programmed only once at the factory.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

At least some new models have this kind of ESN protection. I don't know if 2280 has this kind of ESN protection but probably it does.

no..it's still possible to change ESN on DCT-4 CDMA/TDMA

all you need is change some ic's and upload generated RPL files (i'm doing it by FPS-8 and JBV)
at this time there is impossible for doing ESN changing directly by cable without reprogramed RPL (stand alone SW) as jim (nokiaking) wrote above.
but in the future ... who knows ?

no one can change esn as you cannot write UIM ... nokia has disabled write operation of UIM ... secondly , all other operations can be done by diego ... phoenix software .. without dongle .. with the help of crack program ... itz not a big problem .. if anybody thinks that flashing of 2280 with a flash file nh-17R or NA is going to change esn .. itz all rubbish .. it will end in getting "contact service" .. so.. there is no solution to change esn yet ... rest prl,min,spc can be changed .. regards to all contribute to this forum ..
