and suppose I have a 2280 dead after water logging how can I transfer the networks of dead 2280 to a new 2280 ?

I think ESN is Encrypted Serial Number, this is the same like IMEI. In DCT4 CDMA Phones, ESN is stored in UEM it can not easily changed without Hardware manipulation.

Ok ! siemens thank u ! Some One told me that If my cdma phone is dead and If I can bring a same model of working cdma phone to him he will transfer the networks from dead mobile to the new one. but both the models should be same. like 2030=2030
N191=N191 If some One else knows the solution please tell me ! Administrators or moderators Please help me in understandin this Technology !

yes it is right that hardware is required for changing esn of nokia 2280 and if have the hardware , still its not easy. But guys its fun doing difficult things
