upgrading nokia2115i mono band(1900) to dual band


Hi friends, can someone help me with the procedure to upgrade nokia 2115i monoband(1900mzh) to dual band ie 800/1900mzh. thanks in advance.

Nokia 2115i is a dual band handset. You need to have Griffin Box, data cables for Nokia 6100 and the flash files. + If you have the brand new one most likely it is not equiped with card reader & card reader controller ic so you have to put em all manually.

Almost impossible to do so. As far I know you can change Rh 89 (Single) to dual band type rh 66. But the costs are not worth it.

I have the nokia 2115i that is without sim card.I ruimed the phone and put a card reader but the phone doesnt sense sim card.Can someone please show me with diagram where and how the card reader controller ic is put.Thanks in advance

2115、2116、2125、2126
RH-66 is 800mhz and 1900 mhz,
RH-77 is 800mhz and 1900 mhz
RH-89 is 1900mhz ,not 800mhz

2125/2126 changel LCD,and falsh 2115,

RH-66 is 800mhz and 1900 mhz,
RH-77 is 800mhz and 1900 mhz
RH-89 is 1900mhz ,not 800mhz

2125/2126 change LCD,and flash 2115
