voice call AT Command - GSM-Forum

hello guys,

I am trying to make a voice call over a CDMA phone installed as a CDMA modem on my PC.

Each time i send a dial command "ATD 123456789", its shows on the screen of the phone that its making a data call instead of a voice all.

What i need to do is to be able to dial a voice call through a CDMA modem, but each i send the dial command, it makes a data call.

I have tried two different phones.

I am using Nokia 2115i and Nokia 6275. and they are both CDMA phones. I am sending AT commands through Hyper Terminal.

Please, urgent assistance is required.

Hi javajoe , What you are doing is right for data call. If you want to do Voice call Then put an" ; " at the end of number.
ex: ATD9945037004; for voice call
ATD9945037004 for DATA call.

thanks for the response. i have been able to solve the situation. The problem i had then was that the phones i was using as modems do not support voice calls. So i had to get a modem that supports both voice and data calls.
