Bad connection, Sagem my V-65 - GSM-Forum

Hello, I have 2 Sagem my V-65 phones. I had to buy the second one to use just as a charging unit because the first one will not respond to the charger when I plug it in. I would like to know how to interchange the memory from the first phone to the newer one. Then I could download all the data onto the PC. Alternatively, does anyone know how I might fix the connector on my first phone. I do believe it stopped working after I dropped the phone. Everything works on the phone except the plug in. Thanks.

Hello again. I found another solution. I learned that the plug in for the data cable/charger is hard soldered to the board. I also learned that the memory is hard cored on the board SO, I bought a Sagem 533. The myV-65's are now both redundant. The 533 is a beautiful item with all the usual Sagem treats but this is 3g, bluetooth, the lot. Thanks anyway.
