Box/SmartCard not found - can you please fix this!?

I'm really unhappy about my USTPro2 device. It simply never works.

Theres always detections problems, and it must 100% sure be software related.

Can you please improve the detection rutines in your software? I don't want to buy a seperate computer just for UST - it must be possible to fix the software so that UST can run on the same computer as other unlocking devices.

Box/ports is installed fine (COM5 and 7) using UST drivers, and card is installed fine and working (i can read serial using the tool). But UST software still just says "BOX_ERROR_0x00 : Box/SmartCard not found!" while "loading module", or somtimes immidiately. Other times it just says unknown error.

I'm so tired of buying expensive devices, where developer don't care about making the software compatible when other devices are connected as well.

SEtool is the only of about 20 tools i own, that ALWAYS works perfect - always detects it's own card without any problems.

This my be a long shot but try taking ust apart and checking the sim is conected inside?????

Had the same problem when i knocked the box -in the end found sim loose in box

have you installer ns pro ???

if yes, download drivers for xp version 3.00

uninstall every ust pro related ( ust pro II device ad ust pro II com port )

you can find them in usb device and in com and lpt port


Then disconnect box, install drivers, and when asked connect ust pro 2 box.
Then for path write X:/program files/ust pro II/drivers

And continue

Ust pro now works !

As mentioned card works fine. Also tested in normal e-gate reader, and there's no problems reading serial.

Dengel: Already tried deleting everything, and reinstalling with mentioned drivers.

My point is- why would i need to reinstall ust every time i install an other device? If it is so damn hard to get the ports in the UST box work, i want to use an other port, like my nsdongle device or something. Why can't the software just start and let me choose a different port?

you need to install first of ust evry box you need

then install ust pro....

in particular ns pro and ust pro are very very incompatible :S

try to open your box and check sim holder.
try also to take the card from the box and put in in the setool card reader.


check your drivers must be version 3.00

p.s. the driver wich are with the serial reader program are v1.00. for v3.00 you must go to the support. you must register first.

This is Vahid problem and he need to solve it

People cant have PC for every box that they own!
I am triing to contact with Syroia 3 mounts already and he is always busy and can write on icq!
And Vahid how is posible SN_reader to see card SN but soft cant see the card?
Can you fix this in next update?
How is posible to use 15 boxes on same PC but only UST PRO2 cant run?

Thanks for confirming that this is infact a problem with UST-software and NOT the configuration on the PC.

I have 80% of the most famous GSM-tools, and theres a few that have really poor box/card detection rutines. That includes UST-pro, Multibox and Furious. All other never have any problems connecting to their box/card.

It's very annoying that these teams don't care about writing proper software.
