| FILE ACCESS ERROR !!! May be eeprom file is "Read-Only" , btw, just close UST and open again, and it will work ok. |

| ok guys, this is how i change D900i, for some reason "rebuild" doesn't always work. dl an eeprom file from support, flash it to the phone without the battery, now rebuild imei with battery in, phone off hey. works 100% tested on more than 30 pieces already! |

This actually worked! However, using the "old algorithm" box it required me to detach the phone, power it up, and re-attach it before the timer ran out. But it seemed to work. The phone still won't start but the IMEI reprogram indicated that it changed the IMEI and completed successfully. Now I'm flashing the phone with the downloaded D900i_25 files, clicking both the FLASH and FFS files, and the FORMAT FFS box. I have the battery removed. We'll see if that works... | |

| Well, the method of re-writing the IMEI code worked, but the flashing didn't. I tried it without and with the battery. Phone still comes on to the first screen that says SGH-D900i, goes to second screen, then shuts off. Now I'll try both with the old and the new algorithms.... |
