how to rebuild imei if s/n removed from back cover? - GSM-Forum

I got a m620 and imei is 000000000000000 and there is no any sticker on back side.
now in this case how can i re-build the imei,
need the proper solution.

if you don't have the original back cover you need to patch your phones firmware to fake msladdr, there is no simple one click repair for this

you need to get other M620 unit, then read eeprom..
after that you have flash eeprom using the backup of other phone.. then copy the S/N nad imei # of the other M620..
your problem will be solve..
