Exclamation New Samsung ( S5230, S5600, etc...) firmware description

Here you have for the new (S5230, S5600,S5600v, S8300 etc...) Samsung firmware description .

S5600XXID9

S5600 = phone model

XX = region language code / network code

ID = year/month (release firmware date )

9 = revision

Example:

Samsung model S5600 firmware revision number 9 with Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom languages released in April 2009 .

Sometimes before the region code there is another letter, this letter is for some extra feature edition .

Example:

S5600VBUIF1

These letter mean:

N = navigation edition (contain Route66)
F = Pink edition (firmware is adapted, usually to the color of the equipment an additional theme and some other small features)
G = Grey edition (contain usually no important changes)
V = Vodafone costumized firmware

Revision:

Usually It goes from 1 to 9 . Sometimes 1 to 9 is not sufficient , because there are more than 10 revisions in one month, then the number is replaced by a letter.
