T629 phone locked retuen for service ... solution tested!! - GSM-Forum

I got a T629 with phone locked return for service massage display on it.
There are many posts about this problem, but most of solutions not works for me.
Some solutions require to flash the firmware / eeprom.
Surprisingly, UST doesn't have the firmware / eeprom for this 2006 model in support site.
I even borrow a NSPro to try, but the "build default nvm" function always give me the operation fail message.
The nvm tool in UST always shut down by itself when I try to use it to reset the stack.

Finally, after two days fighting, I found a working solution. (At least it works for me.) Thanks to TechGC.

For step 1,
Just read the unlock code by UST read code function

In step 3,
If you got the message "Not yet personalized" when input the #0111*Unlock Code# like I did, simply input *0111*00000000*00000000# then SEND key, you will then get a "personalized" message. Finally, enter #0111*00000000# and your phone will show "Personalization Canceled".

And your phone will be working again.

There's BUG in UST &Ns Pro when u Unlock this phone IMEI Become 00000000 &rebuild imei not working &no 1 got Real solution till now &Untill u using Read code or Codes Trick u r good

so the problem that USERS don't understand that no box can unlock his phone as long as imei is corrupted so they keep posting bla bla & I hope UST fix da bug soon
