Z540 Error could not set comm state... - GSM-Forum

I made cable according the scheme on support area (I add diode to pin 14).
I plug cable to usb and rj-45 - turn the phone on - windows set new drivers and I can see Samsung USB Composite Device and CDMA Modem on COM20.
But when I put the phone to download mode and press Unlock MSL I get this error - see the attachment.

Zheka, CDMA Modem com port should be set less then com9

I set it to COM7 but nothing changed.
I can start change IMEI - see the attachment, but IMEI remains the same (not changed).

Ok, mate, I did the same. The problem was that (probably bug in 3.01) program can't detect serial COM1, COM2 propely or may be my computer has some errors. When I disable manual COM1, COM2 in device manager - that was ok - it found the phone on COM7 and did unlock MSL. Than I can change IMEI successfully.

But i have now problem to unlock this phone. It asks for password when I insert SIM. So I tried Direct unlock but it's not working. Also I tried to Set network locks (I didn't understand why it became active, bkz normal it's not active) but program stays at Reading date from box and nothing.
I did unlock MSL again but got the phone staying at start screen.
After full flash the phone working ok - without any locks!
