Compared to most of the rest of Europe the UK is expensive, as someone has already said - andsome parts of London are more expensive than the rest of the UK As for what to see, it depends what you're into really, there's something for everyone; historic buildings, west end shows, shopping, strip clubs . Carnaby Street is worth a visit. even if its just for a look about. Also Madam Tussauds, the london dungeon, the Tower, Buckingham Palace, all worth a look. All the best |

Member: 104809 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | my advice i live in london: DONT BOTHER HIRING OR BOOKING ANY SERVICE, becasue their rubbish... see if you can get some kind of tourist discount card...im sure theres loads available... the main downside if you do pre selected package guides are that their NOT customised and alot of people that come here get really bored, best thing is to get a good GUIDE book, and travel around london yourselves, DONT show off cool gadgets, and dont wonder off into alleyways in london theres more then plenty to see, if you get a reasonable guidebook..even walking around and tube hoping with a 1 day travel card will get you place to place. i recoomend covent garden, picadilly circuis and the london dungeon is good for historical gore...also theres italian restayrants and thai cuisine which is good.... goto alot of the famous markets, and dont BUY anything from a tourist spot...ie.. red buses lol or union jack flags...theyre crap and will rip you off!!! good luck pm if you need more help wbr faisal |
