For me I'm always use octopus Samsung & Free tool called by EFS_pro Both are good for me
Many times repaired after try this no luck than try jtag RIFF if still same u need to Check hardware change RF IC

i know all unknow base band is not software

when we rehot ic phone imei and wifi visible,but first time we looking for software.means this problem like android phone unknow base band

bro u can u tell me both did u try to repair unknown baseband ( only s/w Not h/w ) phones with Octopus or Jtag R u sure its not solved ?

My experience unknown baseband 50% phones repair in normal tools this case i choose octopus its can do very well
If some case problem not solved than do with jtag 100% work

Note :- if any Android phone shows unknown baseband & imei empty try with upload good efs in jtag
After than Check imei u see like (00550 .... .) its mean Ur phone efs repair success Some case imei is nothing change like same empty its mean Ur phone have hardware issue

normal tool and jtage both wirte efs erase to phone back
but some tools have not stable method for that
about jtag its wirte the right address of efs
for more info check out the riff box section
if still not success then its RF problem
