Hi,
Khan here,
I am new to this,
I bought a laptop D620 from a school mate, I tried upgrading the ram from 1 G to 2 G as soon as i did it hell broke loose, as soon as i switch it on it says..
System memory has changed, ... Try reseating the ram , i did it number of times , removed cmos battery, nothing worked , now its a new mess now, as soon as i switch on, it takes me to a grey and white page sayin Enter administrator password. 3 tries and it shuts down , can any one please help me in this regard the message it displays is
"this computer sys, #CK3PJD1-595B is protected by a passwd auth. sys. you cannot access data without passwd..
I called dell they are asking me the proof of owner ship , they say they need the original owner, My school mate already graduated and he is not around i tried a lot to get to him but no way , and dell is not ready to help , can anyone please help me,
I am a student from Gannon,
