HAve you try with this program?
https://mrs0m30n3.github.io/youtube-dl-gui/

With this program you can even download videos from youtube, facebook, twitter, almost every source of video.

Very free, no hassles, no ram issues, no browser extensions issues.

Try it and you see!

Regards

For people in linux, youtube-dl is your friend. If you have python installed, just install it with root:

"pip install youtube-dl"

Remember to keep it updated, as they keep chasing YT's changes.

Having issues compiling it on a mac os system.
Used homebrew and pip but did not get far... As i was doing this for a friend and did not use a mac for a wile, end up quitting for the time being, but not without a come back for a second round when i get other mac system.

I understand @Formingus point that using the method he explains very well on video, a method that exists for a wile (as i have been searching for ways to get yt videos), i end up finding the youtube-dl (huge thanks to the developer(s) https://github.com/ytdl-org/youtube-dl ) command line tool and after, finding the gui (also available for linux) to use the youtube-dl without worrying about parameters.

With this GUI, you just put as many YT links you want, import and start it so it gets all the videos in the format you want, all done locally without the need of using other server services to get the same job done!

Either way, thanks to @Formingus to come up with the subject in question and allow this discussion. As we all need a way to get those YT and other video sources, the many solutions to get this done the better! Now its a question of the users reading this to use them as they see fit!

Regards to all!

The reason why I choose to use Joyoshare Screen Recorder is that it helps me record and save a specific part of a YouTube video in 1080p at 60fps without watermark. I can use it to do a ot of things. Online YouTube downloaders are too risky for my computer. I also found a how-to video from its offcial YouTube channel.
