Member: 1024 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5,510 | Good bye Nokia It finally happened! MS destroyed and bought Nokia for peanuts. Some younger guys think mobile phones started with the iPhone in 2007, before that we all used Morse code and smoke signals. But for people who are longer in the business - we will never forget 5110, 6110, 8810 and off course - 6310 models. Also some younger guys think that phone hacking is coding a bash script, SSH into Linux or playing with a FAT file system. There are people who still remember when phones had real CPU's, not Qcom, real NOR flash chips, not MMC cards packed in a BGA and yes, some even had a real EEPROM. RIP Nokia, we had fun in the last 15 years! You will be greatly missed. |
