i just install sst 5,37 in my pc

program working 10000000% and when i restart the pc i get boot error
my hard disk is totaly damedge

plzzzzzzz any one can help to repair the hard disk
my hard disk don't boot any more and i just need to make backup for my data

hard disk is not proplem for me i just want to save my data

plz if any know selution share it

what windows you have installed?
try to repair mbr of hdd
in 98 try fdisk/mbr
in xp fixmbr (not sure that's name of command,type help and see what is like that)
but you need to boot from another source.and for future some bios have some kind of protection for mbr,try to keep active that.

i install the program in winxp

and i just conect my killed HDD is slave in other pc and waiting the steps to do

in winxp fix mbr wrong command

that command is available only when boot from cd and choice repair

and this command write new mbr on hdd.maybe is enough to repair.

I am not Shure but U may try some ways:
1. Under DOS type "fdisk /mbr" don't forgot the /mbr because uoy will start the program to split your HDD. This command clear and in some cases restore HDD boot records. If it not work try:
2. Use Partition Magic for DOS, and try to recover your HDD boot record.
3. Go to web site of the your HDD maker (e.g. if your hdd is maxtor go to maxtor.com) and try in support area to find and download the program which can do some manipulations with your HDD, and try to recover the HDD with her.
4. Try to recover HDD boot sectors with other recovery software.

Note: These recovers (except 1st) can destroy all data to your HDD , but if they can help to some people I will be happy . But the information is in the internet and you can download wen you need.

Connect your "bad" hard disk in other pc (win9x o NT) in IDE 2 or IDE 1 but SLAVE and power on, now you can "SAVE" all your data a "new" pc. If your bad hard disk is NTFS partition, ONLY working with any Win NT (2000, XP)

Save your data and after make fdisk/mbr > fdisk > format and reinstall OS
