Need Help toshiba laptop


Hi i have a toshiba tecra M4 laptop with bios password,
inside the laptop there is no eeprom
but a flashchip
ST m50fw080 it is a tsop40 flash and i think the password is here written,

can anybody help me out , to unlockthis chip or have anybody a unlocked bin file for this chip please?

@ Bigbrother2000

i have this toshiba satellite dynabook 2270
problem is not charging
battery is ok mean i powered power supply fan with it

voltage @ unit's output pins ok but still not charging

any solution .....

I read the chip m50fw080 out and dumped,
is 1 mb who can help me find the pass inside, or have a dump from a M4

you can try write 1MB of 0xFF to the flash then turn on

see what it will do

in the dell laptop, we erase all data in the eeprom IC and it will unlock.

if it fails, atleast you have the backup file

Yes but by dell it is eeprom,
by this is bios boot everything inside this flash if i write ff then it will not boot and not work anymore
