Member: 103635 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 86 | How to fix turkish lockd phone??? it's Nokia 8800, and I never seen such a thing!!!?? Now he is here in Sweden but his phone still "locked" Please anyone who know how to fix this problem and make the phone accept any simcard again? |

Member: 537675 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | if the phone says ''simcard not accepted'' or ''simcard rejected'',this is nothing releated to Turkish government stupid 'blocking foreign phones law'.they only block the imei numbers.im sure they cant relock any handset with any tool,im saying this according to their gsm software knowladge,monkey level or maybe lower just ask the customer if he needed any repair service with his in turkey?maybe wrong hands damaged the phone,just an idea.. br |

Member: 537675 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | that problem is not releated to my countries stupid law.as i said above,officers know nothing about gsm software etc.,and of course they cant make any remote software operation to any handset,im %100 sure.turkish government can only block the imei number of your customer and he cant use the phone in turkey.but when came back to his country,he can freely use his phone,no worries.in my opinion,insert sim card,is a hw problem.check the phone hw,maybe some water damage.turkey is so so hot nowadays and all people live in pools 12 hours a day br |
