Member: 22208 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | Indoor Signal Repeater client of mine needs indoor signal repeater. some hotspots in the 2 storey buyilding but not throught the building. What proven low-cost solutions are there that will boost the signal throughout the building. I need to boost a GSM signal in 900Mhz and 1800Mhz. depending on cost and quality, i plan on purchasing up to 10 pieces. Any advice would be appreciated. Also possible suppliers please contact me via email. thanks |

Member: 33547 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 17 | I haven't seen dual band repeaters. I think you must place two of them one for 900 and one for 1800. I have one amplifier for this: Uplink: 824-849 and 1850-1910 MHz Downlink: 869-895 and 1930-1990 MHz Ouput Power (MAX): 3W (824-849MHz) 3W (1850-1910MHz) @ 9dBi that costs 450euros, and you have to place an external antenna adapter to the phone. if you want i can send you more info on repeaters. |

Member: 22208 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | thanks but i found a solution for both the 900 and 1800 Mhz bands. it the JDTech JD65-XT. They guarantee coverage of about 2,500 sq feet. cost about 700USD thougfh. Has anybody used this product (or even dealed with the company)? BTW, how far can your amplifier cover? I'm still out for a better and cheaper solution though. THanks |

Member: 22208 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | besides the operator's signal i want to amplify works on both bands. so a repeater that can only repeat in one band is still ok/. What i want now is better coverage and lower price. also maybe a battery for one the mains fails. |

Member: 33547 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 17 | You can use a computer UPS for a quick and cheap solution. 3Watt's are good enough and depends from the space covered. if you have an empty warehouse will work for a very large area. But if you have offices and loads of stuff it will cover smaller areas. That works for any repeater-amplifier you buy. I think you can buy from them looks nice product |
