laptop(ibmt20) no power - GSM-Forum

i got this problem since almost a year, my laptops battery cant stay 5minutes powering my ibm so im lalways connected with the adaptor..

siometimes i need to wait 20 minutes charging the battery before it can boot up. WHY DOES MY LAPTOP CANT BOOTUP USING THE ADAPTOR ALONE? but sometimes it does boot up, where is the prob? is it CPU? BATTERY? or ADAPTOR?

the battery indicates it is charging(battery ligths yellow) but it just blink when press on.
some says the battery is defective so i bought a battery but it didnt solve the prob. the

anyone can help?

Hello there. My T21 has the same problem. Exactly the same way you have told. I think the PSU has some faults.

I tried to power on laptop several time and this culminated in CRC checksum corruption. Well this CRC problem has been solved but now my flex cable is damaged.
