Member: 96593 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 13 | mobile phone raids phones and computers were siezed during the raids and onsite checks were made by the police technical specialists, using a laptop imei, numbers were checked to see if they were stolen or not. Computers are also taken to check to see if any software can help facilitate in changing imei numbers, even though option may never have been used, it is a offence to have any software or hardware that could be used to change imei numbers. Even back of covers ,spare parts an thing that has IMEI number would be checked. So its a warning ,please be carefull AND do not have any software that can change imei numbers on harddrive or have any phones, back of phones that have the imei numbers that can link to them as stolen phones. |
