Not so good for all

As much as we all wanted this IMEI software, I think it should not have been free.

How may people are now not going to be make a living from unlocking as a result of this easy solution.<br />I am one of the lucky ones who has income from other sources.

I see 100% why certain admin wanted this kept quiet, ( and good on them ) but I think Dejan ( full respect given and deserved) was forced in to this by certain other people who were trying to make a fast buck and rip people off.

the last 2 weeks have been great for the Mr I don't have a clue what i'm doing group of unlockers, but to others who rely on this business to survive and live this has been a disaster.

alot of hard work put in by proggrammers is now useless, Software which yesterday was considered great is now obsolete. alot of money for alot of poeple has now been lost. Many People on this forum who have put alot of time and effort in to helping people and finding solutions, have had part or all of their business destroyed as a result of the last 2 weeks.

This is just my own oppinion, and I think a few will agree, most will think i'm talking utter crap.

i think everybody understand now that we are WORKING and not playing.

Ok, we have to pay for the professionals solutions, but not too high, not too less too.

What will happend to you guys when your customers gonna come to this forum (wich is the best in the gsmworld)? You will just have to find other tricks to earn your money.

Why not establishing some rules, with persons responsibles in each country's who gonna be intermediate for selling other logs or sw?

It can made the life easyest for everybody.<br />If that comes, i want to be responsible of Belgium.

Totally agree with you. We needed this IMEI change<br />but not now ! We needed it year ago.

What's the point to have this now ?

Most of us know that unlocking via Mbus was not <br />available for so long just because of fact is <br />releated with IMEI.. So we have IMEI now and <br />Mr. Unlocker is useless.

I have respect for Dejan and his work - he did <br />great extracting the algoes from TDD cpu, we worship him for that.

But this happens few weeks after Nokia confirmed<br />the new IMEI and SP algos ( phoenix 3.40 ).

By my opinion there will be 2 major consequences -<br />Unlocking business will dye for a while because<br />the kids will start to unlock their phones again.

And the people that trade stolen handsets will<br />make quick buck.

About the future - DCT4 and stuff - I don't think<br />that anyone will be safe to invest money in development<br />of new product.

Just imagine invest time and money to do it, and<br />when is ready somebody is angry at you and give<br />it away for free.

Alot of people are making bucks out of gsm. Me also and I admit it. I LIKE buying solutions for cellphones. The last month I bought Samsung JIG box, Emmidroid, Siemens logcalculator. When I spend my money on a solution I would like too get even with the investment, or make more!

In my county there are not so many "good" unlockers. If I surf in the internet in NL I see for example "THE UNLOCK COMPANY" and if I look in there "menu" list they only unlock the fones that have free solutions (these kind of unlockers think the DATACABLE is a BIG investment!!) They don't know what they are doing (only pushing buttons!) Don't get me wrong, I NEVER wrote any software, but I DO know what I am doing. Before December last year I was updating phones for<br />30 euro each. After the newyear 2002, some "quick buck" maker bought a account at B_phreaks and selling it for 40 euro each, with unlimetid access, too the FTP-server. In begin januari the price falls from 30 ---&gt; 15 euro's because this "trick". So starting from januari these "schoolkids" where upgrading for too less money, but they DON'T have too pay TAX!!!!!!!!!<br />They just put the 15 euro in their pocket!!!!

But Dejan MUST feel the same way!!!! He "invented" the flashing without TDF box. 4 days after the release of the free software sellers where making BIG money from his solution!

A few months later the first cracked (or stolen) mcu/ppm boxes came, these were BIG money for most resellers. They all made money from dejan's "invention" again.

Now the hex is free, resellers are making money from dejan logs for imei and 4 locks closed. I think he had too do this for his feeling, cause much people where making money behind his back.

I think that not that many members unlocked 3210's via the DAGGER method. Does anybody remember this man? I also remember Bph&Co <br />askig "Do you need too bee in tha bathroom?"<br />(this refferes too the pin 6 too the ground method with bare foots!!) <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

There are not so many people in GSM-unlocking since Dejan releasd the flasher.

Maybee Nokia unlocking buisiness will dye for a while, because of the easy way, but there are plenty of other marks that can not be unlocked by the "on every streetcorner" unlocker.<br />There are alot of other marks that need too bee unlocked!
