| Personal advice on Electronics carrear Hi guys, just thought this would be a good place to post this question as probably most guys here are geeks on electronics and must have some acknowledgement on this... Since young I tried to start my career on electronics. by the time i started doing mobile phone unlocking, several electronic repairs, domestic appliance repair and finally car electronics. I had no luck with all this in my country has they were not very profitable there. I have settled as a vehicle mechanic but doing mostly mechanical and not electronic jobs. The major drawback was that my education didn't include programming, so although I am a geek on electronics I started loosing as today programming is a must. I have a course but haven't went into uni! I have since then moved into London but kept my career as a vehicle technician (funny name for a mechanic with understanding on electrics). As the years pass I realize that i am at a dead hole with my career and things will get worse as I get more experience on this area, no one will want to employ a mechanic on this area, as the work references I have are from a completely different area! I am seeking for advice on going on with a career of electronics. Should I take some kind of course? Witch keywords should I include while looking for a job or a trainee opportunity? Any thoughts appreciated! Thanks! |
