Problem with my PC: Invalid boot ini file.


I have problem with my pc , when windows was trying to starting show me this:
Invalid boot ini file
Booting from C:/windows/

..and cd room was not working on my pc , did i have another chance to repair this problem please:
expample from usb or some other way to get start my pc?

any advice from expert???????

If you boot from first partition then attach your hdd to another working pc and copy this file to your hdd 's root dir. and rename to boot.ini.

Remember boot ini file is read only hidden file.I think you can handle it.

don't forget to rename boot.txt to boot.ini

Done windows was starting it is ok all now.
also on start again show me boot.ini something like this , but windows was starting good that's was i want.

Also, if you want to look at this file - u can do it by next method:

Start -> Run... -> msconfig

Its :
General / system ini / win.ini / services / startup / tools

On General to are selected :
selective startup

in my OS
General / system.ini / win.ini / boot.ini
=)

So if you want to edit (not recommended) - you need to open it with notepad..
it placed (as you know) C:\boot.ini (it's hidden system file, so if you don't see it you have to do some dances with buben )
