"hello nation! I want to discuss about legality of our activity and olso about our legislation... Are we protected or not by law? what are the chances that we get ourselves with penal files? I see that our guvernants (election time now) are on us (see Blanculescu, etc). Since 3 and a half years when we start this activity, beeing myself a cautious guy, I keep ask this to myself... Now, I can't hold myself anymore and I wanted to hear your opinion." WBR, Daniel M. P.S. sorry if in my translation I writed something wrong... I did it fast | |

Member: 4989 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 13 | Well, talk to a lawyer for this matter, but I don't know if in our laws unlocking is illegal. Well, there's another thing, the phone you unlock is owned by a person because he payed for it, and in this case he can do whatever he wants with it. Also, consider unlocking as a "security area rebuild", so you can write in papers you rebuild ORIGINAL IMEI. And another thing, try to return phone locked, and code written to a paper to custormer, in this way he will decide if he wants it unlocked later (you can do this for Alcatel 320, Mitsubishi, Nokia, Sagem, C62, ST55, etc, all phones that can be unlocked by codes) |

Member: 5921 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5 | it's an interesting point of view... i appreciate. thank you! lawyer can't help because it's hard to find a good one! and you risk to pay for nothing(i experienced) what about Connex and Orange? those operators have nothing to say? they are loosing money... they can also unlock phones but for a higher price, and only operator code (nck). |

Member: 25392 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 10 | ce stiu eu "what i know" i got a "gsm service" and before i legalized my businesi talked with a lawer: ........ flashing it is not legal becouse of copiright law.. when you modify original software in phone you broke a property of nokia,se..etc for doing this you need to be a authorised service by the most of phone manufacturers... best part is this : like microsft(bsa) .. nokia ,se, siemens,.. need a organisation for legal issues and... to prove that you are doing this A LITTLE BIT OF DIFFERENT MATTER IS WHEN YOU CHANGE IMEI...this is strictely forbiden..... .......also for home unlockers it is another problem ... taking money from anothers persons without any papers or a legal form is ilegal in romania ...you need to have a company or to be a small manufacturer and to pay taxes (vat .cas etc) and to declare this income but anyway like mrx (salut santo) says: No law can keep me aside to not unlock phones, if it will be still possible. Politicians can kiss our a**es ! |
