In the UK, there was an episode of a programme called Braniac where they have fun with science. One person wrote in with this question.

From the test, (using a 6310) the signal booster made no diference what so ever, but a long metal wire connected to the external arial port helped massivly.

Every signal boosters at present are only match used with yagi antenns should work.
So please check whether you are installing the correct way(connect booster and antenna, point to the signal sorce what we call BTS) or just install a "signal booster" in your house?--that will just become another decoration~

I am good at repeaters. Come to me if you have any questions.

I am looking for some user experience regarding GSM signal booster equipment you can buy, connected to an external antenna connected.
I am living in the mountainside of the Algarve, south Portugal, and cannot find any information here. I found several equipments for sale, but as they are quite expensive, I would like some personal experiences before I order it.
Thank you for your help.

don't mix up with gsm signal booster & gsm external an****a .

both are different , good quality gsm signal booster works & increase signal upto 20-30 % depending on some conditions .
but external an****a are useless .
