Today got mail of my friends Singla Ji Deepak about this new spam attack which may not only dead your Facebook account but also steal your other saved password on PC. Yes this new spamming virus is very dangerous, so please be aware and also makes aware your other friends by just sharing this information on Facebook, Twitter , Google+ or Blog. So have a look at this new Facebook virus which may become a cause of your hacked Facebook account. How Facebook New Spam (Virus) Works ?

Some one from your Facebook Friends list will say you “Wanna laugh?? watch my video here http://94.113.44.57/100000?xxxxxxxx”
(xxxx is random numbers i.e http://94.113.44.57/100000?134068738 )
Or
Message would be like this “Hello How are you? your friend XYZ is in leading role in this video check it out http://94.113.44.57/100000?134068738”
If victim will reply this message then victim will get some random messages in reply from the virus infected friends Facebook account.
Obviously victim (In case you) will click on the link and a web page will open which will look same like vary known and leading video broadcasting site YouTube’s video page where the title of video will be something like this “ONE OF YOUR FACEBOOK FRIEND’S NAME] – is in leading role in this video” but victim will not be able to watch the video and he/she will be promoted to download the Adobe Flash player plugin, victim will download the Flash Player from the link given in same page so that flash player is NOT Original Flash player plugin, actually it is a backdoor developed vary smartly to get access of your C drive where everything belongs for your PC like your saved passwords on your browsers and mainly in this case the HOSTS file in your “c:WindowsSystem32driversetc” directory.
After installing the flash player when user (Affected Victim of the virus) will try to login in his/her Facebook account, but they will not be able to login because they are trying to login a fake facebook site, actually virus have done something on your PC’s hosts file and/or in your browsers proxy settings, when you try to go Welcome to Facebook - Log In, Sign Up or Learn More it will load a fake facebook login page from a proxy server from ip 94.113.44.57 and when user tries to login through this fake page their Facebook username and password been sent to the virus’s server and everything is over now that server will automatically login to your Facebook account and will do the same thing with your facebook friends and their accounts will also be infected if they do the same what victim did, and I’m sure that they will do it because in this era of socialism everyone is serching something new and exiting over the net and its a fishing net where we all get trapped once atleast (Me too).
How to Prevent Your Facebook Account Being Affected ?

There are various ways to prevent your Facebook account from this kind of viruses and hackers, some of the most important tips to prevent your facebbok account from virus are listed below:

• Don’t click on the links provided by the stringers.
• Don’t click on the links provided by your recently added friends.
• Don’t Download the plugins from the various websites, go directly to Adobe Website instead and download the plugin, if still that site requires the adobe flash player plugin that means it’s a scam site just close it.
• Don’t input your login information any other site than Facebook, Always check that the URL is Welcome to Facebook - Log In, Sign Up or Learn More
• Keep your antivirus updated so it will do the rest for you.

My Facebook account is hacked / affected by the virus now what to do?

If your Facebook account is hacked / affected by this kind of virus than follow the steps given below to recover it.

1. The very first steps is to use someone else computer or go to cyber cafe and change your facebook password.
2. On your computer click on start menu then accessories/system tools/System Restore (for windows 7 user directly search for System Restore in your start menu)
3. Click on the “Next” button of System Restore’s welcome screen
   
4. Choose a date when you were able to login to your facebook aco****, for example you were able to login on 24th July 2011 choose that date in the System restore or choose earlier day of the date you were able to login to your Facebook Account.
5. Click next, System restore will confirm that you want to restore your system to selected date, click yes than click finish
6. It will take a while and will restart your PC.
7. After restarting the PC you will be able to use your Facebook account once again,
8. Please Change all the passwords of all your accounts like Google account, Facebook Account, Tweeter account etc. etc because all passwords might have sent to virus’s developer.
