Member: 60899 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 792 | w200 is triband yes but there are 2 versions out, the w200i 900/1800/1900 and the w200a 850/1800/1900 mhz so there should be some way to convert it. i guess i stands for international and a for americas. I read the band settings are in the gdfs and that is not easy to modify. |

make repair operation. try it workin or no, if no workin try some W200a(850Mhz) workin phone. dont forget to make full backup before do anything. check the signal too before repair real W200a phone after repair check again that W200a still get signal or no?? (just for test to make sure seraching problem not cause by unlock operation) in my country we mostly workin on Nokia PCS phone, as i know that kind of phone was similiar like in ur country, using 850Mhz, ussually we make some modification in software and simple hardware trick by remove 850Mhz filter and make some bypass(jumper) on them. to find where is 850Mhz u must see in schematic for that phone. notice: this kind of phone will never get good quality signal like original one, but we can says it's workin and u can use that phone. if u want to make some private chat contact me in messenger. and for ur last post, sorry i can't understand what are u talking about?? please describe in some simple word... br, kevin168 | |
