Problem with DreamBox - GSM-Forum

from somedays my dreambox is not working.it connect sucessfully with software but on trying anything like read info etc. it gives following error

Error : You use not calibrated device
Please, contact your dealer!
Error : Failed.

On "Read Box info"

Box Info:
Box SN : xxxx
Firmware Version : 1.08.0
Firmware Build Info : 2579 14 February 2007 13:18:10
Hardware version : 1.1
Done.

what can be the problem?

Hi, .::Rizwan::.!
Did work your box before? This error can be only on box which has manufacture defect.

yes i was using it from many months,this error come somedays before.

Please help, I have problem too, in my dreambox always show :
error : You short power conector to ground, please check it.

When i check the dreambox pcb, capasitor C8 is burned, anyone know what type the c8 is? I wanna change it, but don't know the value of that.
