Strange Error On My Dreambox - GSM-Forum

HI
I JUST BAUGHT A DREAMBOX AND I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH IT FINE BUT NOW IT IS RECTING STRANGLY COULD SOMEONE HELP ME TO FIX THIS PROBLEM;
IN FACT WHEN NOW I CONNECT THE DREAMBOX TO THE PC AND CLICK ON READ INFO ALL THE INFORMATION RELATIVE TO THE BOX ARE ARE CORRECT LIKE BOX <cutted> Do not post serial numbers here!!!
FIRMWARE VERSION 103
FIRMWARE BUILD INFO 2306 17 FEBR 2006 13.06.19

WHEN I TRY TO READ A PHONE INFO THE DREAMBOX GIVES ME THIS MESSAGE "ERROR:YOU SHORT POWER CONNECTOR TO GROUND,PLEASE CHECK IT;
WARNING BATTERRY VOLTAGE 0MV
POWER ON THE PHONE....

WHAT IS THIS STRANGE ERROR ? IS MY BOX BROKEN? PLEASE HELP§§§§§§

Check if your probe is rightly connected to the phone(positive).

this happen even if you don't connect any cable to the box but he box connected to the pc
you click on read phone info and you get the message

when you try to read information from phone it will give this message
"ERROR:YOU SHORT THE POWER TO GROUND,PLEASE CHECK.......
POWER ON THE PHONE"
WHAT IS THE MEANNING OF THIS I THOUGHT IT WAS CABLE MATTER BUT NO
EVEN IF ANY PHONE IS CONNECTED TO THE BOX WHEN YOU CLICK ON READ PHONE INFO YOU WILL GET THE MESSAGE;
I CANNOT WORK WITH MY DREAMBOX

If you search the forum you'll find some post about this problem. This is a hardware problem, contact your reseller you box must be exchanged.

Maybe box has hardware damage. Send back it to your reseller.

plyse a have problem with my dream box ..................
my DREAMBOX GIVES ME THIS MESSAGE
my sn or intarface is ok good
error: can not connect to dream box(xxx)
error:failed

Check your usb cable and usb-connector in PC.
Try it in other PC.
Reinstall drivers.
If all are ok, but you still have same problem - box has hardware damage, and you should send it back for repair.
