usb smart newbie ,please explain


i am new to usb smart , what is the CID and the Difference between CID 36 and CID 29 etc

and also the difference between RED and BROWN , can i damage the phone with Different CID's etc

Just when yoy read a phone only have to take care about the CID number. I'm improving my guide for explain those details but it's not easy...I hope someone will explain you. If I have a good day Maybe Friday morning I will be able of finish Luskao Guidev1.1 Spanish included Lg and more errors,tips and tricks.

CID 36 and CID 29 are RSA Security Certificates
Red = Retail
Brown = Devolopment

You should only flash phone with same CID as phone originally had as a rule, there can be exceptions to this rule

Hope this helps you a little

I believe the v800/v802/z800 all have 2 CID slots. so you can flash a CID29 to 36 and back no problem.

Yes Sure this is true as I said above "There are exceptions to this rule"

Too much information can be confusing to newbies

general rule is stick with the same CID number.
