Yeah, I really hope USB-Smart follows with this major update. I do a lot of W600i phones and I really hate the TP process.

Hope the NEXT UPDATE of USB Smart is better, NO MORE TEST POINT ON CID49, like this:

Version 8.00 (14th January 2006, alpha version):
Implemented red CID49 unlocking and flashing without using a testpoint.
The real standalone way, no EMMA smartcard usage, world's first!
Supported phones are W550i/c, W600i, K600i/c, K608i and V600i. More models coming shortly.
Loaders updated.

Please try with SEMC Tool v6.1 (just uploaded in support area).
PLEASE post result (because on my K608 also previous version v6.0 is working well).

What is the problem here?

Can you please upload teh 6.1 on teh support page so that I can try it and give update? I have a V600i here that needs unlocking urgently.

TP or NO TP? do i need external battery? what about internal battery?
